About
Previously located in a small room in the Clay County Courthouse, the Hayesville Library would receive a major upgrade in 1965. Opening to the public in 1967, the newly named Moss Memorial Library was dedicated to the late Dr. Fred A. Moss, creator of the MCAT exam and a Clay County native who tremendously supported the library.
Today, Moss Memorial Library has a grand collection of books, DVDs, audiobooks, and video games. They’ve continued to upgrade their technology spaces as well, with a newly introduced teen gaming room and 3D printer being located near the YA and graphic novel sections.
